Having recently filed their plan review application with the city-parish Department of Public Works, the owners of Barcadia – a Dallas-based burger joint, bar and arcade – should start construction soon on a new Baton Rouge restaurant in the former Serranos Salsa Company location near LSU, says Stanton Ripp, who co-owns the Barcadia in New Orleans with business partner Billy Blatty.
