The former BIG Mitsubishi dealership on North Interstate Drive, fronting I-12, sold yesterday to North Interstate, LLC, represented by H. N. “Hank” Saurage IV. The property will be redeveloped for commercial, retail, and office users. “Where else can you get this much commercial real estate interstate frontage on I-12 in Baton Rouge? The property was begging to be redeveloped. We have a number of end users interested in portions of the 6 acre tract” said Hank Saurage. Carmen Austin, MBA, CCIM and Hank Saurage, CCIM of Saurage Commercial Real Estate brokered the transaction.
Hank obtained his Real Estate Sales License in 1984, followed shortly thereafter by his Real Estate Brokers License in 1986 and then his Real Estate Brokers License in Mississippi in 1997. In 1990, Hank earned the CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation from the Commercial Investment Real Estate Council.
