If you are involved with commercial real estate as an owner/investor/tenant, then you should be aware of any reliable forecast of the market.

The Commercial Loan Brokers Institute is such a reliable source.  In an article June 15, 2017 titled “Four Trends Affecting Commercial Real Estate in 2017”, four specific trends are cited:

  • Global economic and political uncertainties – largely positive for the US
  • Low interest and cap rate environment – attention to specific market sector changes
  • Foreign investment in the US – continued flow of capital to the US
  • Slowing new supply – again, attention to specific market sector changes
