By Corrin Otillio, Sales and Leasing Agent for Saurage Rotenberg Commercial Real Estate
With Saurage Rotenberg Commercial Real Estate, LLC’s recent influx of new agents, I thought this would be a fitting read for this week’s industry update. Forbes.com posted Meet the New Breed Real Estate Agents, written by Omri Barzilay. Barzilay explains how technology has become crucial to modern day real estate transactions.
Companies like Compass and Zillow created in-house technology focused on consumer access to information. Their motto: simplified, easy-to-understand material creates a well-informed buyer whom is likely to make great investment decisions. In the past, agents have spent nearly 89 percent of their time doing administrative tasks for clients (Barzilay). New technology is paving the way for young agents, like myself, to spend less time searching for details and more time focusing on clients.
When I joined Saurage Rotenberg, I was pleasantly surprised to learn our company has invested in multiple avenues of obtaining crucial information. Because of this, I am able to immediately answer questions, email floor plans & pictures and contact fellow agents to assist clients’ needs on available properties.
