CBRE Econometric Advisors’s Annual Trends 2011 shows an uptick in the New Year due to increased retail sales and limited space supply. The following is culled from information in the just-released report.

BOSTON – Heading into the New Year on a high note, CBRE Econometric Advisors (CBRE-EA) is predicting retail demand for space will be positive for the first time since 2007.

If the new analysis is on target, vacancy is expected to drop to 12.7 percent by the end of 2011; it was 13 percent at the end of Q3 2010.
