Today, 9.97 acres of land on the corner of Airline Highway and Babin Road in Gonzales were sold for $3,400,000.00. Chris Pike of Saurage Commercial Real Estate represented the seller, D. Calloway Properties, Inc, and the buyer, Glocal Development, LLC, a Delaware corporation, was represented by Kelly Allen and Tony Demarco of NAI/Latter & Blum. The tract has approximately 425 feet of frontage on Airline Highway including the hard corner. Previously this year an adjacent one acre tract was sold for use as an Enterprise Rent-A-Car. The buyers have not disclosed their intended use for the property, but we look for plans to be revealed later this year.
