Baton Rouge, Louisiana – Tracts formerly known as Tracts A and B were sold today by heirs of the Nick Messina to DB Midway, LLC. Tract A is located between I-10 and Summa Avenue; Tract B is located between Summa and Picardy Avenue; both tracts are approximately fifteen acres and adjacent to properties owned by Baton Rouge General Hospital near Bluebonnet Boulevard.  Tract A is also adjacent to the Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital, now under construction. The sale price of the combined properties was $3.7 million.

Tract A will be traversed by the extension of Dijon Drive Extension; Midway Road will be constructed from an intersection with Dijon south crossing Summa and continuing to Picardy Avenue.

Buyers of the property have not disclosed specific plans for the properties.
